When our representatives are making important
decisions that impact all of our lives I believe it is important to ask
one basic question before making
those decisions, Is this good for
the children? Just imagine what our world would be
like if that question was asked prior to making decisions about going to
war, the environment, education or healthcare.

1. Commentary by Elaine B. Holtz: Again,
we have had to switch to Plan B,
since we experienced technical
difficulties. We were off the
air for 10 minutes and our
phones were down, so our
scheduled two guests had to be
cancelled. Our first guest was
to be Susan Lamont who would
announce a Stop Endless Wars
Rally to happen on Saturday,
March 25th from 1 - 3 PM. Check
out the flyer under the
Announcements
section further below on this
page.
Our second guest was to be Molly
Murphy MacGregor of the
National Women's History
Alliance, already postponed
due to the technical
difficulties with the phones
last week. She was one of her
team, the National Women's
History Project, to push for
National Women's History Month
for March.
I will be playing some songs for
Women's History Month and I will
recite two poems of mine,
and thank Ken for the
inspiration: The Seed, and
The Gardener.
With the seeds of the
sunflower running through my
hands,
I saw and felt the oneness
of it all.
For it is in the
understanding of the seed
that we see,
we are all part of the great
divine. the great mystery.
Each form of life on this
planet forms first within a
seed.
Perhaps the big bang itself
was a cellular explosion
of the continuum of seed.
The great mystery is a
simple fact: We are all of
seed.
Our fractionations and
habitats may be different,
But our beginnings and needs
are the same.
All life as we know it needs
air, oxygen, water, food,
space, and sleep.
All life as we know it
experiences various forms of
transformation.
All have their beginning
time, their in-between time,
and their final time.
There is no need to know
anything beyond the truth of
the seed.
G – A Gardner is one with
the Great Woo Who as he or
she grows
and harvests the gifts of
the Earth through gardening
and gathering.
A – A Gardner is attuned to
the Earth and all its
abundance.
R – A Gardner works with the
resources of the Earth and
understands that humans rely
on the garden for many
things.
D – A Gardner is dedicated
to the Divine as delicious
food produced from the
planting of seeds into the
rich dirt of the Earth is
demonstrated.
N – A Gardner is one with
nature and sees how we are
nurtured through the garden,
through the Earth and all
its natural resources.
E – A Gardner sees the
evolution of all life on
Earth and understands the
ecology and environment of
the Earth and its soil
knowing how to provide one
with food to eat.
R – A Gardner rejoices in
the Earth as the result of
Gardner’s care sees the
plants and vegetables rise
towards the sun resulting in
food, beauty and
replenishing of the earth
itself.
